A glimpse into French knife-making at Laguiole. We are proud to offer free visits of our shop.

You can visit the workshop (free guided tour on request) between 9am-12pm and 1.30-5.30pm. The site is closed on Sundays off-season.

• Public holidays: the shop is open but there are no workshop tours
• Sundays: shop open (check with us first as it depends on the time of year) but there are no workshop tours
• In July and August visits take place all day and include a demonstration of knife assembly (30 min) and a tour of the workshop (30 min). Please contact us for group tours.

To whet your appetite for the tour, you can also sample the fare at the beautiful hotel-restaurant Relais & Châteaux run by the Michelin-starred Bras family, the famous Laguiole cheese, and an aligot (a local dish of potatoes and cheese) made by the cheese cooperative Jeune Montagne.
